Frequently asked questions:

1. What is the difference between a support group and group coaching?
Group coaching is centered around a topic such as self-care, mindfulness, etc. The three elements of group coaching are input on the topic, discussion on the progress groups members have made and homework to build on the group coaching topic. A support group is centered around the needs of each member. Each member decides what they want to work on and brings those challenges or tasks to the group each week. The group gives support and encouragement, as well as help in keeping the members accountable for what they want to work on.
2. Do I need to be a professional author to be a part of a writing group?
No, this group is for anyone that wants to write consistently.

3. Do I need to be writing a book to be a part of a writing group?
No, whatever you are working on in your writing practice is what you can share with the group.

4. What kind of books will the book club include?
The books read in book club will be those that help us on our life journey. Some of the first books we will use are Self-Compassion by Kristin Neff, Ph.D and A Human Mosaic by Anne Boudreau
5. What kind of classes will be offered?
Classes offered will cover topics on living your best life. Some topics for upcoming classes are self-care, self-worth, mindfulness meditation, gratitude, etc.

6. What is the cost for each service?
Coaching is an affordable $50.00 per session. Many coaches charge between $100 to $150 per one-hour session. However, because Kathy wants to make these services affordable for everyone, she charges a lower rate. Costs for groups and classes will vary based on the topic and length of the class. Kathy strives to keep all services as affordable as possible.
