What is Coaching?
Coaching is the process of understanding where you are now and where you want to go in the future.
Coaching looks at the past as an informational and learning experience, but not as a definition of who you are currently.
Coaching looks at a person’s goals and how to achieve them by using the strengths and abilities you already have.
Coaching helps you build new tools and abilities for dealing with difficult life situations.
The difference between coaching and counseling
Coaching is not meant to replace mental health services. Whereas counseling works with chronic mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, OCD and other conditions covered in the DSM, coaching builds on strengths and goals to enhance life and build emotional wellness.
Kathy offers one-on-one coaching.
Sessions are $50.00 per 50-minute session.
